Spambots Matrix Spamming The MatrixBattle Of The Spambots & Captcha
Spamming The Matrix!

Spambots here means computer filters used to detect spam, and computer programs used to spam with. A captcha is a computer test to determine if you are a human, or not. Now all humans follow me,  lets examine the matrix

There is a on going battle between spammers and search engines. Each side faces victory and defeat over and over again. Blogger blogs have always been spammers first choice for splogging. Blogger is owned by Google, and to have Google’s technology available to fight spam is a major advantage for blogger, and a major headache for spammers.

Blogger has once again recently improved their spam filters, or their spambots if you will. In addition to over sensitive filters that trigger the posting captcha being placed on your blogs, blogger has now begun Locking Blogs! Locked blogs can not make any posts at all, even manually! There is no need for a captcha, instead you get a new warning message indicating you can only save posts as drafts, until you request a human to review your blog.

Victory for blogger for now, but the battle is not over! Blogger blogs are just too attractive to spammers for many reasons to abandon just because of evil search engine spambots. In fact, it is still possible to fly below the spam filters and be totally invisible to them, but be careful, because it’s easier to get caught!

Some people may wonder why bother with blogger blogs in the first place if they are that much trouble. I’ll give you a few good reasons, and none of them has any thing to do with blogger being better then wordpress as far as design goes. Wordpress blogs are better in design, but are server intense if you run mass quantities at a time. Blogger blogs use none of your server resources, so you can run 5,000 blogs. Try running 5,000 wp blogs on your server

Another nice thing about blogger blogs is they are quick, dirty and disposable! There are a number of blogger generators available, I have reviewed two of them here recently! Blogger Generator, and Voodoo Blogger. If your a programmer, you could easily make your own program for private use. Or hire a coder to create a php script for you that even runs on your server. Mass production of blogger blogs is easier, and uses less system resources! And there is the bonus that blogger blogs get indexed faster, and rank better faster!

So that is why spammers will not give up blogger blogs easily with out a serious fight! And a fight they will get!

I can not come right out and tell you how to successfully beat the captcha. If I did it would only work for a few days before blogger adjusted their bots. I can how ever tell you what you need to know.

Son Of Spam Tips:

I find that there are certain key factors which trigger filters quicker.

Number of ad blocks + number of posts.

You won’t do very well if you plaster 3 ad blocks around one day of posts. I don’t like this formatting for VB. Better is 1 ad block for 7 days to start off with.

Keyword Stuffing.

We know how to effectively target the adsense ads we want, and blogger knows that too. If your title, and url, contain the same kw’s that you try to repeat as often as possible to target specific adsense ads, although I’m sure the filters aren’t doing this to protect adsense, I think keyword stuffing is a red flag for possible spam.

Repeated URLS

Generally a splog will repeat the same url over and over again in the posts, or many different urls. This will trigger the spambots for sure.

Excessive Posting

This one I’m not sure how much weight they place in. Blogger allows up to 99 posts in the same day! But obviously other factors must be considered too! I think for spammers trying to avoid the captcha or worse, getting locked out, once a day is the most to shoot for.

The key to avoiding the captcha is to not look like a splog. Use real content that is legible and makes sense to humans. Most blog posts by non spammers on blogger rarely ever use links in their posts so we stick out like a sore thumb when we start posting urls regularly, still it’s not just the links, it’s a combination of every thing which makes it very difficult to do what we are trying to do AND stay below the radar.

To make maters worse, blogger has just changed things again! They now lock blogs too! Worse then the captcha, a locked blog can not make any posts, even manually, there is no captcha, because there is no posting! I just got a lot of my blogs locked, which was a surprise to me as I never seen that before.

So you see, it’s not that easy for any one. The trick is to keep going.

There still is another way to use VB, and that is for disposable blogs for blog & ping.

You can easily use VB for blog & ping to get a new site indexed faster.

For this technique you can even go crazy, spam the crapola out of your blogs! But you don’t need more then 200 blogs to do this, and even 25 to 50 will get the job done too.

Blogger allows up to 99 posts the same day. So don’t worry about over doing the number of posts. Simply include a url to each page you want indexed, content is NOT important for this, just the urls! We know it’s spam, humans know it’s spam, robots know it’s spam, so don’t worry about it! Just the urls. Sure we will get busted the next day, but we don’t care! By then we have accomplished what we set out to do! All we wanted to do was B&P to get a new site indexed faster, thats all, we would never use the same blog again any way!

For all other ways to use VB, we will need to deal with the captcha. It won’t be easy.

The only way I know how to completely avoid the captcha is to host your blogger on your own server.

I recommend working with smaller number of blogs for experimenting until you find a good balance.

REMEMBER, WE ARE DEALING WITH VERY SOPHISTICATED SOFTWARE FILTERING PROGRAMS MADE BY GOOGLE!

Don’t think you can just easily slip through. These programs are capable of seeing a lot more then you can see, and they can do it faster!
They can still be beat, but you need to understand what they are looking for. Do you understand Neo?

Matrix-02

If you have too much trouble just take a break from it all, and come back to it later with a fresh mind, we all need to ReLoad some times

Rest assured the battle is far from over!
