WHO WANTS PR STORM FOR FREE?

First of all let me just answer a few questions about PR Storm that I get asked a lot.

IS PR STORM LEGAL? - Yes! barely
DOES PR STORM WORK? - YES!
CAN I GET IN ANY TROUBLE USING PR STORM? - Yes and No!
IS PR STORM ABOUT TO BE REMOVED FROM MARKET? - Maybe!

This is a program I reviewed on SEO Traffic Rank, and there is no need to repeat the review, any one who knows any thing about spam, knows just how effective PR Storm is and that is precisely the reason spam critics have been going after the owners of PR Storm. And BTW, no I am not one of the owners or directly associated with the program accept being an affiliate of it. This post is an update concerning rumors that PR STORM is about to be taken off the market due to pressure from watch dog groups, spam hunters, and spam critics.

Unfortunately I can not give you a definite answer whether PR Storm will be taken off the market. I can however shed a little light on the subject to dispel a few myths.

The owner of PR STORM is hoping to sell the product as soon as possible. As far as I can tell he has no plans to immediately pull it off the shelves. It’s still available to the general public at a ridiculously low price! There are no legal actions in the works to remove PR Storm from the market or law suites against users of PR Storm users, also known as Storm Troopers! PR Storm does not break any laws in the United States. It is true that there has been a large scale attack against the owners of PR Storm, previous, and current, and Storm Troopers from various anti spam fanatics. There is the possibility that the current owner may give up trying to sell the rights to PR Storm and remove it from the market. But before any of you anti-spam fanatics view that as a victory allow me to rain on your parade. The worse thing that can happen is PR Storm gets removed from the market place. That would be very, very bad news for YOU! Let me explain. Any publicity is GOOD publicity! If PRS is removed from market, that permits all of the 1000’s of Storm Troopers to simply hand out free copies of PRS to any one who wants it. Hmmm, you think PRS is a problem now when people have to pay for it to use it? Just think what a problem it could be if it was FREE!

So what’s all the fuss about? What makes PR Storm the most feared and hated spam program? IT WORKS! That’s all. Plain and simple. It does what it says it does, and it’s dirt cheap too! Almost every spammer has a copy in their tool box

For those of you that do not know what PRS is I’ll give you a quick run down. It is a modified hitbot that you can configure to spam stats counters all across the Internet by sending fake hits to their pages registering the hits or “visits” from any web site you assign to it. Since webstats are posted on the Internet and if they are not htaccess protected, search engine spiders count those links as actual ONE WAY LINKS. So what kind of trouble can you get in to using PRS? Not a whole lot, certainly no legal trouble unless you target specific colleges and government sites and bombard them with excessive hits which could be seen as a DOS attack. As long as you do not use PRS to try to crash servers, and all you do is send realistic hits or “visits” with out over doing it, the worse thing that can happen is you will piss off some one, no big deal. If you piss of the wrong person, some one with some connections, you could loose your ISP connection. This is rare, but it has been reported to have happened a couple of times. Since then most troopers use PRS on disposable dial up accounts, or proxy servers.

DOES IT REALLY STILL WORK? You bet your sweet google it does! Just don’t over do it! The amazing thing about this whole ordeal is if people are stupid enough to broadcast their stats page to the world, they deserve to get spammed don’t you think? Why would you want people to see who visits your site? Why would you not password protect your stats pages? Your probably amazed that so many people don’t protect their stats pages! My take on it is if you allow your stats page to be public, then don’t cry about getting spammed. I personally think this whole PR Storm drama has been over played by idiotic anti spam fanatics that have way too much time on there hands and not much between their ears … the funny thing is they have only made PRS more popular then ever, and if they succeed in getting it removed from market, it will become a free download for any one who wants it! makes you wonder what they were think of when they started all this crap about PRS!

What can you use PRS for? Use your imagination

The most obvious uses are to get one way links, and get new sites spidered faster.
