GOOGLE BUYS 5% OF AOL!Slap In The Face For MSN!

According to the New York Times, Google is buying 5% of AOL for a cool one billion dollars. While far from a controling share holder, it does put Google in a nice G Spot, while slapping arch rival MSN in the face!
The bidding was supposedly very close and down to the wire! Time Warner finally accepted when Google agreed to give AOL favored search treatment! A move that must have surely sent MSN in a fiery! I question how much “favored” treatment we are actually talking about here! A topic that will no doubt be talked about a lot in forums, and seo circles all over the world!
Obviously Google wanted to out bid MSN very much! But is AOL worth $5 billion for just 5%? May be, may be not, but the look on Bill Gates face when he discovered he lost to Google, not that would have been priceless!
